In the rare case of a sponsorship not being continued until the recipient completes either school or professional training, the Himalaya Hilfe will help out with funds from the Emergency fund for children and young adults until a new sponsor has been found. In this way we can prevent the children and young adults from having to drop out of school or professional training due to a lack of resources.

If a sponsorship for an elderly person ends, then, as is the case for school children, the Himalaya Hilfe will help out until a new sponsor is found. The emergency fund may also contribute to the costs of expensive medical treatment not covered by the amount of the sponsorship.
